Our Products & Services

Grants are available for Loft Insulation and Cavity Wall Insulation. EnergyLink Ltd. can arrange for an approved installer in your local area to carry out a free, no-obligation survey of your property. If you are happy to go ahead, our installers will undertake the work and claim the grant from a utility company or a managing agent on your behalf.

EnergyLink can help you to receive up to 3 quotes for the installation of Renewable Energy products that generate electricity or heat. Incentives are available now for electricity generation and from April 2011, incentives are due to be introduced for heat generation.

Mainstream grant funding ended on 3rd February 2010 for electricity generating products such as Solar PV (photovoltaics), Wind Turbines and small-scale Hydro Electricity. Grants for these products have been replaced by Feed In Tariffs that pay for any electricity generated plus extra payments for surplus electricity supplied to the grid. Payments exist for 20 to 25 years after installation depending on the product.

Grants for heat generating products such as Solar Thermal and Ground & Air Source Heat Pumps ended on 24th May 2010. They are scheduled to be replaced in April 2011 by Renewable Heat Incentives (RHIs) that will pay you for every kWh of heat generated. Payments are expected to exist for 20 to 25 years after installation depending on the product.

Loft Insulation & Cavity Wall Insulation

Loft Insulation and Cavity Wall Insulation are widely recognised as the two most effective energy saving products available. A poorly insulated home can lose up to 25% of it's heat through the roof and 35% through the walls. Government-backed grants are available to all home owners and private tenants. Insulation is 100% free if anyone is aged 70 or over or in receipt of a qualifying benefit, tax credit or allowance. more
Solar Power

Using the power of the sun to heat your hot water or generate electricity saves on energy bills and cuts CO2 emissions. Solar PV grants were replaced by Feed In Tariffs (FITs) on 1st April 2010. FITs allow you to receive payments for electricity generated and sold back to the grid. Grants for Solar Thermal (hot water) systems are no longer available. They are due to be replaced by Renewable Heat Incentives from 1st April 2011. more
Ground & Air Source Heat Pumps

A heat pump works in the opposite way to a refrigerator, extracting heat from the ground or the air, compressing it and then increasing the temperature. Ground-source heat pumps provide space heating or pre-heat water. Air-source heat pumps typically provide under-floor or warm air heating. Grants for Heat Pumps have now ended and are due to be replaced by Renewable Heat Incentives from April 2011. more
Wind Power

Wind Turbines convert the power of the wind into electricity which can be stored in batteries, used directly or fed into the grid. As with solar PV, mainstream grant funding has been replaced by the Government's new Feed In Tariffs or FITs. Anyone generating electricity can receive payments for generating electricity and (optionally) feeding it back into the grid. Savings are also made on existing electricity bills. more
Biomass Stoves & Boilers

Burning organic matter consumes just as much carbon as it produces and is therefore considered to be Carbon Neutral. Most systems burn wood or wood derivatives and include Biomass Stoves & Biomass Boilers. Grants are no longer available and are due to be replaced by Renewable Heat Incentives from April 2011 that will pay for every kWh of heat generated in your property. more
Energy Loans

As Government grant funding has ended for Renewable Energy products, EnergyLink Ltd. have partnered with one of the UK's leading loan brokers to offer customers a secured loan quotation from a whole-market price comparison. Our main focus is to assist with the purchase of Energy Efficient products but these loans can be used for almost any purpose. more
Other Energy Saving Services

There are a range of other energy-saving products and services available that aren't grant assisted. EnergyLink can arrange for you to have up to three quotes from reputable double glazing companies in your area. These companies know they are competing against each other which drives down the price. We can also arrange a price comparison on your gas and electricity which can save up to £350 per. year on your energy bills.more
